Collaborative action research was conducted to analyze errors in student writing and examine the role of the first language in these errors. A remedial program was implemented to assist learners in overcoming these challenges. Findings suggest a need to address mother tongue interference to enhance English writing skills in Sri Lankan students.

  3. INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE has existed for 53 years over 5,000 schools in more than 150 countries offer some of the IB programs 4 programs for students aged 3 to 19 "focus on teaching students to think critically and independently, and how to inquire with care and logic"

  4. Diploma Programme for students aged 16-18 (3rd and 4th grade of high school) students have 3 basic subjects and 6 to choose from subjects are chosen at one of the levels (SL or HL) at the end of their 2nd year they take exams in their subjects (external evaluation) research paper on a specific topic

  5. Teaching and assessment understanding and applying; not reproduction of knowledge interdisciplinarity research work work in small groups external and internal evaluation grades from 1-7

  6. Core Core content content: : Theory of Knowledge (TOK); Extended Essay (EE) Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). These subjects are obligatory for all IB DP students and are a condition for obtaining the IB Diploma. TOK (Theory of knowledge) is assimilated into the regular teaching process, and is based on interdisciplinary connection of all subject areas; knowledge is approached analytically, reflexive and critical; exam material is a TOK essay of 1500 words on one of the prescribed topics. EE (Extended essay) is written on a topic from a selected area under the guidance of a mentor and EE coordinator for several months. An essay of 4000 words is submitted as exam material. CAS means dealing with creative content of your choice physical activity according to personal preferences and voluntary charitable engagement important to the community. Records of completed CAS activities are a condition for obtaining an IB Diploma.

Admission requirements described in detail in the Admission policy document Pre-registration - starting this month GPA at least 3.5 at the end of 2nd grade of high school (grading system 1-5; will be checked and verified if the grading system is different) very good (4) or excellent (5) final grade in Croatian, Math and English students from abroad may choose a different subject instead of Croatian, but it has to be one of STEM subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science) if the grade in these subjects is lower, an entrance exam in that subject has to be taken motivation letter and two teacher recommendations Interview in English - final round (by invitation)

Deadline TBA (foreign students) After reviewing the applications, the Admission team will publish the schedule of individual interviews of students and parents / guardians with the Admission team Individual interviews documentation can be delivered in person - room 204 every day from 8 am to 1 pm Final subject selection - or by e-mail ibdp.prhg@gmail.com with the indication "Application for enrollment" If necessary, the dates of the entrance exams will be announced Paperwork

  11. Fees Application fee 10 Entrance exam 50 per exam Deposit 300 lump-sum Tuition 4800 per school year (payable in monthly installments) 20% discount for excellent students with a 4.5 GPA and top grades in three subjects (Math, English, Croatian/STEM)
