Annual Catch Limit Control Rule Current Status Public hearing draft document (PHD). Next Steps Select preferred alternatives (today), publish PHD, and hold public hearings this spring/summer. Action at Next Council Meeting Approve amendment for Secretarial submission at the (tentative) June 2014 meeting or the August 2014 meeting. 2

Next Steps Select preferred alternatives (today), publish PHD, and hold public hearings this spring/summer. In Puerto Rico only? Island-Based Fishery Management Plans Current Status Completed second round of scoping meetings. Next Steps Develop draft environmental impact statements (EISs)/public hearing drafts (PHDs) and fishery management plans (FMPs). Action at Next Council Meeting Present the Council with initial drafts of the EISs, PHDs, and FMPs at the August 2014 meeting. 4
Timing of AM-Based Closures Current Status Draft Scoping Document Next Steps Present Scoping Document to Council and obtain input. Publish Scoping Document and hold Scoping Meetings this Spring/Summer. Action at Next Council Meeting Council considers scoping outcomes at the August 2014 meeting.
