Floodgate List Update Process
Processing updates for the floodgate list in SunGuide software involves coordination between districts, Central Office, and software users. Districts open Jira issues to request database updates, which are then coordinated with FL-ATIS and SwRI. Once updates are complete, Central Office notifies districts to ensure the latest information is available to users. Modifications and deletions may require synchronized rollout to ensure accuracy. Additionally, enhancements like removing Lat/Long data and replacing it with location descriptions are being considered to improve the user experience.

History Mainline detection of WWD events using the directional bin has already been implemented as a test for D4. o These are not currently hooked into the WWD module. D4 has gathered the data and written a full ConOps for this effort. 13 SunGuide Software Users Group 04/01/21
Enhancement Create an association between mainline MVDS that allows detection of consecutive detectors Trigger WWD detection based on the directional bin of consecutive MVDS o Configurable number of consecutive detectors o Time constraints for consecutive detections o Same alert functionality as ramp WWD detection Allow association of mainline WWD detections to existing WWD events for tracking 14 SunGuide Software Users Group 04/01/21
Enhancement Links on the map should flash when mainline detection is triggered. Consecutive detections should flash but suppress alerts. Disable WWD detection on some mainline MVDS as needed (Construction, etc.). 15 SunGuide Software Users Group 04/01/21
