  1. Amazing structures in Europe FONTANA DI TREVI !!! Fontana di Trevi is probably the most famous fountain in the world and one of the most spectacular sights not only in Rome, but also in all of Italy.

  2. THE PLACE, THE HEIGHT, THE WIDTH AND THE ARCHITECTS The Trevil Fountain is a fountain in the Trevil district of Rome, Italy. It is the largest baroque fountain in the city, 26 meters high and 49 meters wide. It was designed by the Italian architect Nikola Salvi and completed by Pietro Brazzi.

  3. THE COMPLETION OF THE FOUNTAIN AND ITS USE The Roman custom of building a beautiful fountain at the end of an aqueduct that brought water to Rome was revived in the 15th century in the renaissance era. In 1453, Pope Nicholas V finished the repairs to the Acqua Vergine and he built a simple basin designed by the humanist architect Leon Battista Alberti to mark the arrival of the water.

  4. THE FIGURES DEPICTED AND THEIR SYMBOLISM Most people believe that the central figure of the sculptural composition depicts the Greek god Poseidon. However, in reality it depicts the Titan Oceanus, son of Uranus and Gaia according to mythology, standing on a huge shell.

  5. THE SOURCE THAT FEEDS THE FONTANA DI TREVI Observing representations depicted on the fountain, one will discern a scene to the right of the court where a girl is pointing to a spring.
