Food Science Society College Bowl Professional development and exploration for students interested in Food Science and Technology Guest speakers Industry tours Product development competitions Cal Poly Pomona s IFTSA Chapter Cal Poly Pomona s IFTSA Chapter Trivia competition where students showcase their knowledge of Food Science topics 40 schools across the US, 8 regions Hosted by IFT, the international Food Science professional organization with over 10,000 members

  3. Why do we need additional funding? To reach nationals, must win Pacific Southwest regionals Chapman, Cal Poly SLO, LBSU Nationals is held at IFT FIRST in Chicago, IL across four days Couldn t request funding for an event we weren t sure of Competition held March 22, 2025

  4. About IFT FIRST July 13-16, 2025 in Chicago, IL Largest global food science expo Discover current trends in food science, make industry connections, and showcase the strength of CPP education in front of a global audience
