Register a charitable organization | Alberta.ca AN ORGANIZATION MUST REGISTER IF: it uses a fundraising business it intends to raise more than $25,000 in gross contributions in its financial year from solicitations (requests for contribution) to individuals in Alberta during or after the campaign, it finds it has raised more than $25,000 (if so, the charity must register within 45 days after the contributions reach $25,000)

Crowdfunding Alberta Platform | Alberta.ca Crowdfunding Alberta | Investing in our future, together The Government of Alberta has created a crowdfunding platform to help non-profits fundraise online and to connect Alberta s non-profit organizations with supporters and donors for fundraising campaigns. The organization receives all the donations raised less any third-party payment processing fees and optional platform fees, whether they reach their goal or not. MATCH FUNDING: MATCH FUNDING: The Government of Alberta is supporting Alberta's non-profits by matching 30% of funds raised by organizations, up to $1,000,000 by March 31, 2023.
