  3. Click to edit Master title style Program Overview The Comfortably CA Program is a statewide midstream HVAC incentive program. The purpose of the program is to make high efficiency hvac equipment the first thing dealers promote, and homeowners ask for. Distributors who participate in the program must pass the incentive received from the utility to contractors who: Purchase qualifying equipment Installs the qualify equipment in eligible service territories. Dealers can either keep the incentive or pass it on to their homeowner. 3 3

The dwelling must be residential. Eligible residential dwellings, Existing and new construction Multifamily Mobile Homes 3. The homeowner must receive service from one of the participating utilities Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Southern California Edison (SCE) Southern California Gas (SoCalGas) San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) 4 4

Click to edit Master title style Residential Furnace Efficiency Requirements & Incentive Amounts TIER LEVELS AFUE% INCENTIVE AMOUNTS $20 per household Tier 1 92.0 & < 95.0 $60 per household Tier 2 95.0 & < 97.0 $85 per household Tier 3 97.0 New and existing dwellings are eligible to receive the furnace incentive. The homeowner must receive gas service from one of the participating utilities. Limit 1 furnace incentive per household 6 6

Click to edit Master title style Residential Heat Pump Fuel Substitution Efficiency Requirements & Incentive Amounts TIER LEVELS EFFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS INCENTIVE AMOUNTS SEER 15.2 AND HSPF 7.7 $75 per ton Tier1, SEER2 SEER 16AND HSPF 8.0 $200 per ton Tier2, SEER2 SEER 16.9 AND HSPF 8.1 $250 per ton Tier 3, SEER2 SEER 17.8AND HSPF 8.1 $275 per ton Tier 4, SEER2 BOTH minimum SEER and HSPF need to be met to qualify. NOT eligible for New Construction Homeowner must receive gas OR electric service from one of the participating utilities. You must replace a furnace and central air conditioner. If equipment is both SEER and SEER2 rated, program eligibility will default to the SEER2 rating. No limit to the number of rebates received at one address. 7 7

Click to edit Master title style Reimbursement Process Submitted applications are process in the order in which they are received & typically within 2-3 business days of submission Approved applications are paid within 5-7 business days of via ACH. Application statuses can be view within the portal additionally status emails are sent to the email address who set up the account. Equipment purchased & installed between January 1st July 31st, 2023, must be submitted into EGIA portal by August 28th for reimbursement. 9 9
