Genuine Conversion 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10
1. They Turned They changed. They turned from idols. They turned to God. Genuine conversion takes place when one changes the direction of his life. how you turned to God from idols
2. They Served They willingly yielded and obeyed. We must obey God (Eccl. 12:13). We must serve our Master (Luke 6:46). Genuine conversion results in an obedient faith (James 2:14-18). to serve the living and true God
3. They Waited They trusted and hoped. Isaiah 25:8-9 Philippians 3:18-21 Genuine conversion shifts one s focus from earthly things to eternal things. and to wait for His Son from heaven
Genuine Conversion 1. They directed their lives towards God. 2. They willing yielded themselves and obeyed God. 3. They placed their trust and hope in God.
