What is GaTAPP What is GaTAPP GaTAPP is an alternative certification program for those who desire to become an educator and have an existing degree (bachelor s or higher) in a field other than education from an accredited institution and have been employed by a regionally accredited school district as a classroom teacher

  3. TAPP Does Not Serve the Following TAPP Does Not Serve the Following Para-professionals Substitute teachers Individuals seeking a service certificate (Ex: Counseling, Media Specialists, etc.) Individuals seeking a college degree

  4. Certificate Fields Offered Certificate Fields Offered Elementary Education (P-5) Elementary Education Add-On Middle Grades (4-8) All Content Areas High School (6-12) All Content Areas CTAE P-12 certificates including special education, art, music, PE, health, foreign language

Complete the Pioneer RESA GaTAPP application packet which can be found at GaTAPP | Pioneer RESA. Parts of the application require signatures from district employees and other administrators 3. Schedule a face-to-face appointment for the review of your application by contacting Pioneer RESA s Professional Learning Office at 706-865-2141

It is the expectation that all participants will be present at all TAPP events TAPP requirements take priority over other extra-curricular duties and responsibilities Should an emergency occur and you are unable to attend a TAPP session, it is your responsibility to notify your instructor

  13. What is the Format of Pioneer RESAs What is the Format of Pioneer RESA s GaTAPP Program? GaTAPP Program? Pioneer RESA offers a Hybrid program with both face-to-face and online requirements. Course dates and times will be provided when accepted into the program.

Receive a rating of proficient or better on all required assessments. Attend all face-to-face and/or online sessions. Pay tuition in full.
