  1. 5 Year Vision: The Journey

  2. United Learning As part of United Learning, Glenmoor and Winton Academies were asked to develop and publish a 5 year (2016-2021) Vision document. Richard Coe, Rachel Hesketh and Ben Antell worked alongside staff, Governors and United Learning to create this document which is now our executive summary of aspiration.

  3. Overview We wanted to think of what characteristics our 5 Year Vision would take on We also wanted the summary to be visual and aligned to visual tool formatting You will note that one of our 7 priorities is to become and Advanced Thinking School 3

  4. Detail We wanted our vision to have real clarity and a sense of purpose For each strand we had 3 bullet points that focused on desirable outcomes for stakeholders followed by a statement of intent a vision of what this really means 4

  5. The detail on Thinking Schools The inclusion of this in such a public document (not only is it ours but this is collectively owned by United Learning as well as the MAT) shows the determination and commitment of Glenmoor and Winton Academies leaders to commit to this way of working. 5
