Equipping learners with social and emotional competencies is vital in today's world. The SEL Global Movement aims to create a collaborative platform for leaders, educators, and communities to enhance SEL practices through knowledge sharing, resources, and advocacy efforts. The initiative focuses on accelerating communities of practice, providing access to quality resources, and fostering a global research network to address challenges in SEL implementation.

  2. WHY? In today s world, it is more important than ever to equip learners with social and emotional competencies. However, there is no collective global movement to face global challenges to bring together those who are moving this crucial social and emotional agenda forward. The SEL Global Movement creates an opportunity for collective impact by bringing together leaders, educators, organisations and communities to share knowledge, provide resources, foster advocacy and catalyse collaborative efforts at all levels.

  3. WHAT? Accelerating communities of practice by curating events Creating a shared conceptual understanding and supporting contextualised application Gifting access for educators to extend SEL practice by high quality resources Providing access to cutting-edge global research in SEL

  10. RECOMMENDATIONS We do need a global alliance and it is up to us to make it happen Founding board that becomes distributed across regions and perspectives Founding partners contribute time, expertise or money
