VISUALIZATION AND MAPPING RESEARCH DATA SHARING BETWEEN RESEARCHERS AT THE GLOBAL LEVEL Tupan Centre for Scientific Data and Documentation- Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Jakarta International Conference On Library and Information Sciences, September 7, 2021 Indonesian Center For Agricultural Library and Technology Dissemination Ministry of Agriculture - Republic of Indonesia
INTRODUCTION Research data is an important asset resulting from research activities in the field of science and technology. In recent years, more and more institutions have recommended citing published research data sets. Independent disciplines have recommended publication of data sets for sharing with other researchers Policy-making institutions have initiated an open science strategy to support the idea of open access not only to published material but also to open primary research data. The scientific potential of open data sets is enormous in terms of replication of research result Data reuse is a key element of an evolving research data sharing infrastructure, not only facilitating sharing, discovery and appropriate use, but also enabling tracking of data impact enabling researchers to receive rewards for their contributions to research activities. The reuse of research data can increase the effectiveness, productivity, and reproducibility of research activities in the field of science and technology. In addition, the existence of open data allows for better collaboration between academia, government, and the private sector. n recent years, scientific journals in various disciplines have begun to adopt data sharing policies to promote transparency and replication.
Research Question The purpose of this study is to visualize and maps the sharing of research data at the global level based on Scopus data. The objectives of the study are to determine the following: Trends in annual publication of research data on data sharing research topics Top twenty most relevant sources to topics sharing research data publication Top twenty of the most author on the topic of sharing research data Top twenty most productive countries publish research topics on the sharing of research data The most relevant affiliation related to sharing of research data publication Country co-authorship network in research data sharing publication Organizational Co-authorship analysis in sharing of research data publication Co-citation network map of research topic journals sharing research data. Co-occurrence network map of research topics sharing research data based on keywords
Methodology The study was conducted using the Scopus data-based literature search method. The data search was carried out on 27 July 2021 using the keyword research data sharing with a time span of all years and all types of documents. From the search results obtained as many as 524 publications consisting of 9 types of documents. The search results data as many as 524 documents grouped based on criteria according to the research objectives. The grouping results were analyzed using MS Excel. Meanwhile, to visualize and map search results from Scopus, they are exported to CSV. The export results are then mapped using the VOSviewer to view Coauthorship by affiliation/institution, Co- citation network map for research data sharing publications and Co- occurrence network map for research topics sharing research data based on keywords
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Trends in annual publication of research data on data sharing research topics The topic of research on sharing research data has been started since 1985. From 1985 to 2002, there were publications on the topic of sharing research data. Only starting in 2003, the topic of research on sharing research data continues to increase until now. The publications on research topics sharing data with risers saw a significant increase starting in 2015 with 45 publications. no additional addition of
