Compassion & Mercy God's mercy means God's goodness toward those in misery or distress. Exodus 34:6 The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. Psalm 103v8 The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

Mercy in Action Mercy in Action Ezekiel 33:11 As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. I only want them to turn from their wicked ways so they can live. Turn! Turn from your wickedness, O people of Israel! Why should you die? 1 Timothy 2:3-5 This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity the man Christ Jesus.
