God's Creation of Man and Dominion in Genesis

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

Genesis 1:29 And God said, See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.

Genesis 1:30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food ; and it was so.

Genesis 1:31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Jesus' humanity enabled Him to REGAIN man's lost DOMINION.

Hebrews 2:5 For He has not put the world to come, of which we speak, in subjection to angels.

Hebrews 2:6 But one testified in a certain place, saying: What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You take care of him?

Hebrews 2:7 You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, and set him over the works of Your hands.

Hebrews 2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

Ephesians 1:20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

Ephesians 1:21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Ephesians 1:22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

Ephesians 1:23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Jesus' humanity enabled Him to be the "CAPTAIN of our SALVATION".

Hebrews 2:10 For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hebrews 2:11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Hebrews 2:12 saying: I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.

Hebrews 2:13 And again: I will put My trust in Him. And again: Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.

John 17:22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

John 17:23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

John 17:24 Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Jesus' humanity DISARMED Satan and delivered us from death.

Hebrews 2:14 Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

Hebrews 2:15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Hebrews 2:16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.

Job 1:12 And the Lord said to Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person. So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Job 2:6 And the Lord said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life.

1 Corinthians 15:55 O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus' humanity enables Him to be a sympathetic HIGH PRIEST.

Hebrews 2:17 Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 2:18 For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
