  1. OUR STANDING BEFORE GOD GOD S PERCEPTION OF ME

  2. RIGHTEOUSNESS A FREE GIFT OF GRACE

  3. JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE

  4. Romans 3:22-24 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

  5. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

  6. RIGHTEOUSNESS - GODS AMAZING GIFT TO US

  7. Romans 5:17 For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

  8. LIVING FROM THIS PLACE OF GRACE

  9. Romans 5:1,2 1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

  10. THE WEIGHT OF GUILT AND SHAME

  11. FREEDOM IN HIS PRESENCE

  12. HOLY, BLAMELESS, ACCEPTED

  13. Ephesians 1:4-6 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

  14. QUALIFIED AND FIT

  15. Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

  16. Luke 12:32 "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

  17. YOU ARE A SAINT, NOT A SINNER

  18. Philippians 1:1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

  19. SIN/SERVANT MENTALITY VERSUS RIGHTEOUSNESS/SON MENTALITY

  20. Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

  21. COME BOLDLY, WITH CONFIDENCE AND FREEDOM

  22. Ephesians 3:12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

  23. ENTER WITH AWE AND REVERENCE

  24. Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

  25. WHAT IF WE SIN?

  26. IF WE SIN, WE DONT DENY THAT WE HAVE SINNED

  27. Proverbs 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

  28. 1 John 1:6-10 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

  29. 1 John 1:6-10 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

  30. CORRECTION AND CONVICTION

  31. GODLY SORROW PRODUCES REPENTANCE

  32. 2 Corinthians 7:9,10 9 Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.

  33. DONT LIVE UNDER GUILT, SHAME AND CONDEMNATION

  34. 1 John 3:20,21 20 For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

  35. CLEARING OUR OWN CONSCIENCE WITH THE WORD

  36. Hebrews 10:19-22 19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

  37. Hebrews 10:19-22 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
