God's Signs and Prophetic Timelines: Rapture and Beyond

Recap Session 11 Signs God uses signs in the sky and on the earth to tell of important events happening or in the future. The Rainbow and the Star of Bethlehem are examples in the past. Blood Red Moons, floods, Covid 19, increasing occurrences and strengths of earthquakes and signs in the atmosphere are current signs. The drying up of the River Euphrates, Wormwood asteroid and more Blood Red moons are some near future signs. These future signs can be found in Joel 2, Luke 21, Isaiah 19 and Revelation 16. These signs along with the great deceptions being taught by secular scientists, delusion by Satan, increase in knowledge and travel, wars and the Jews returning to Israel tell us that the Second Coming of Christ is very near, and the Rapture of the Church is 7 years sooner. Death, then what? Please watch supplemental video: Death It is important to establish what occurs after death. The following describes different scenarios. A Christian s death is a celebration! The Bible says that we sleep . Our mortal bodies cease to live but our soul/spirit immediately goes to be with Jesus in heaven. In 2 Corinthians 5:8, We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Philippians 1:21-23 tells us that For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; Matthew 25:31 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: This judgement is for both Christian and Sinner. The Christian s spirit/soul goes to be with Jesus, the Sinner to Hell, awaiting the Great White Throne Judgement. The Christian s body remains in sleep until the Rapture of the Saints (Christians). John 5:28 and Revelation 20:13 tells us that the Sinner s body will to be resurrected to face sentencing at the Great White Throne Judgement. (SESSION 14) Tribulation saints, while their spirit/souls are in Heaven, their bodies won t be resurrected until later. RAPTURE Please watch supplemental video: Rapture INTRODUCTION It is important to understand that the whole Bible is accepted as the INSPIRED word of God and that belief in this concept is absolutely necessary when accepting the prophetic message including the Rapture. The Bible has been proven true through past sessions including Creation, the Ark and archeologic evidence. RAPTURE Defined . You won t find the word rapture anywhere in the Bible. As we have learned in SESSION 2, the New Testament Bible was written in Greek. The term Rapture translates from the Greek word "harpazo,"The term "rapture" itself is derived from the Latin word "rapturo," meaning suddenly take , "to seize" or "to snatch away. There are several other raptures in the Bible when Enoch was taken to heaven, escaping death. Also, Elijah was taken to heaven via a flaming chariot, escaping death. Phillip was taken away from the enuch and transported in Acts 8:39. THE RAPTURE we will be studying is the snatching away of Christian saints that are alive or have died since ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST as their Savior and have been saved from their sins be a personal relationship with Him as described in Romans 10:9. thatif you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. What does the Bible say about the Rapture? When In Matthew 24:36 the Bible tells us Therefore, God knows when it will happen. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. In verse 37 the Bible tells us when to expect it as it was in the days of Noah that we have discussed extensively in past teaching sessions. The Rapture will occur suddenly and without warning as described in verses 38-44. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. In 1 Thessalonians 5:2, Paul expresses that the Lord s return will be like a thief in the night. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. In Matthew 25, Jesus tells of 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins. The wise kept their lamps full of oil but the foolish virgins let their oil run out and missed the bridegroom s arrival and were left out.. The bridegroom said ..I do not know you.. Verse 13 tells us Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. SESSION 12 PROPHETIC TIMELINE - RAPTURE 7

Who will go in the Rapture? 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so, shall we ever be with the Lord. This refers to the resurrection of believers who have already died, who will be resurrected into their glorified bodies before those who are still alive at the event of the Rapture. The word "rise" means to stand up or to make to stand up, signifying that Jesus will cause Christians to live physically again. Those of us who remain, Christians, will then rise to meet Him in the air. This does not include OLD TESTAMENT saints as they never knew Jesus but were saved be faith in God. (more on this in a later session) Verse 13-15 states, Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. How does the Rapture happen? The previous scriptures tell us that as the trumpet of the LORD sounds the Rapture takes place. Graves will give up the dead bodies, ashes, pieces or what ever form their old body is in and they along with our livings bodies will be transformed into a heavenly body such as Jesus had upon His resurrection. The spirit/souls of the dead in Christ that are in Heaven will reunite with these glorified bodies and rise with Jesus in the air. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body Philippians 3:20 Jesus meets us in the air and DOES NOT return to the actual Earth until the Second Coming after the Tribulation. The "perishable" signifies our current mortal bodies, subject to decay and death. The "imperishable" indicates the glorified bodies believers will receive, which are eternal and incorruptible. This transformation is a fulfillment of God's promise of eternal life, as seen in 1 Corinthians 15:42-44, where Paul contrasts the natural body with the spiritual body. "Immortality" signifies the eternal life that believers will inherit. This transformation is a key aspect of Christian eschatology, where death is no longer a threat. If Christ was raised, so shall we. We shall be changed, in a twinkling of an eye. (The twinkling of the eye is the time it takes for light to enter the eye, reach the back of the eye, and be reflected back out. This process occurs in about one billionth of a second.) No one will witness the Rapture as a Christian will be present and then gone. I d imagine just a pile of clothes left, automobile and plane wrecks along with all kind of confusion as to the unsaved wondering what just happened. Those who are aware of Bible teachings will become aware. What a perfect time for the great delusion of Aliens coming back with an explanation. This along with the spirit of delusion that will prevail after the Rapture, will make it easy for him to step in. At some point, if the Battle of Gog and Magog hasn t happened, this war will occur ushering in the Antichrist's covenant with the Jews. What will we do in Heaven? Worship Jesus Christ our SAVIOR The first thing is to worship our Savior and give Him praise and the honor He deserves. After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb! And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen. The Bride of Christ Celebration While literal Hell breaks loose for 7 years during the Tribulation, Christians won t be floating around on fluffy clouds, or flying around as angels, we will be worshiping, celebrating, reuniting, and being rewarded. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb Revelation 19:7-9 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. What John s vision in Revelation pictures is the wedding feast of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and His bride (the Church) in its third phase. The implication is that the first two phases have already taken place. The first phase was completed on earth when each individual believer placed his or her faith in Christ as Savior. The dowry paid by the bridegroom s parent (God the Father) would be the blood of Christ shed on the Bride s behalf. The Church on earth today, then, is betrothed to Christ, and, like the wise virgins in the parable, all believers should be watching and waiting for the appearance of the Bridegroom (the rapture). The second phase symbolizes the rapture of the Church, when Christ comes to claim His bride and take her to the Father s house. The marriage supper then follows as the third and final step. There are a couple of views as to when this will happen, but my view is the marriage supper of the Lamb takes place in heaven between the rapture and the second coming (during the tribulation on earth). Attending the wedding feast will be not only the Church as the Bride of Christ, but others as well. The others include the Old Testament saints they will not have been resurrected yet, but their souls/spirits will be in heaven with us. As the angel told John to write, Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9). The marriage supper of the Lamb is a glorious celebration of all who are in Christ! SESSION 12 PROPHETIC TIMELINE - RAPTURE 12

The Bema Seat of Christ Also known as the Judgement Seat. This is NOT a judgement of heaven or hell, that is the Great White Throne Judgement. Christians are already judged and found spotless by the covering of the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross. HALLELUJAH! This is where our actions, after we were saved, is looked at and judged, handing out rewards. Therefore, we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. 2 Corinthians 5:9-11 (emphasis added) Christians will be judged on https://livingproof.co/what-is-the-bema-seat-of-christ/ How they built their lives How they used their spiritual gifts The motives of their heart The Bema Seat of Christ is where Jesus will give rewards to Believers based on what they did to build His Kingdom. Paul used the word bema in his writing to give Believers hope for the crowns of glory that will not fade away when Christ comes for His bride (1 Peter 5:4). Reunite with our Christian loved ones and all who are in heaven What a glorious time. Imagine seeing those loved ones who have passed on before us. All our relatives and even those children that died in childbirth. We will be known as we were known. After His resurrection, Jesus was known by His disciples. At the transfiguration, Moses and Elijah were recognized by the disciples, even though they had not seen them before. Its just common sense that we will know everyone in heaven. We will have a glorified perfect body. We will know happiness like never before. What would make you happier than reuniting with your past loved ones? Nothing but seeing Jesus, the One that made all this possible. Summary The Rapture is for born again Christians who have a personal relationship with Jesus, believe in His resurrection and who have confessed their sins. The Rapture is an event in the near future, where the dead in Christ will rise from their graves and reunite with their soul/spirit in the air as Jesus comes back. Christians will then be transformed into a glorious body in a twinkling of an eye. (1 billionth of a second) and go with Jesus into Heaven. Christians will enjoy Heaven and participate in the Marriage Supper of the Lamp, the Bema Seat Judgement, meet loved ones and most of all, worship Jesus Christ our Savior.
