What is a core service and why does it matter?
The apps that comprise G Suite for Education can vary from school district to school district Usually G Suite contains Chrome, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Sites, Classroom, Gmail, Calendar, Keep, Groups, Hangouts, Blogger, YouTube, Google +, Contacts, Tasks
Core services are COPPA & FERPA compliant Google has signed the Student Privacy Pledge for core services Find more information on this document
There are great apps that are not Core Services Maps, Blogger, YouTube, Chrome, Search, You can use these with your students but know that you are responsible for ensuring that students are using them in a safe and COPPA/FERPA compliant manner For more information, see this document
