Year in Review Continued with increased autonomy of the Graduate Curriculum and Graduate Faculty Subcommittee Bi-monthly curriculum subcommittee meetings June Summer Meeting Instructional video for new members Extensive Policy Review and Modifications Focus on the needs of current and future students Graduate student focused policy review Continued Faculty compliments on the process of presenting to the curriculum subcommittee
Policies Reviewed/Updated Graduate School Enrollment Policy Graduate School Admission Policy for Degree-seeking Students Graduate School Deferral Policy Academic Work During University Holidays and Breaks Syllabus Policy Enrollment in Overlapping or Back-to-Back Classes Graduate School Dismissal Policy
Overall Thoughts on the year Curriculum Subcommittee Meetings on Zoom are less impactful to the daily operations of faculty however, they must attend the meeting Faculty do not need to attend the full council meeting* Meetings continue to be efficient work on the front end Policy revision/review is ongoing
