  1. By: Zach Balogh Hercules at Troy

  2. Poseidon and Apollo attempted to remove Zeus from his throne as King of the Olympians. Zeus saw the attack coming and defeated them with flaming thunderbolts, however he does not kill them because Leto, Apollo s mother, begged him to spare them. In return for sparing them, they must serve a mortal man for a year. Don t kill them plz

  3. The mortal man whom they end up serving is King Laomedon, king of Troy. He tells them in return for building a great wall around the city of Troy that he will pay them at the end of their year of service. At the end of their year they finished building the walls around Troy however, there is one small gap King Laomedon refused to pay them for their work due to the gap which greatly angered Poseidon. Build me a wall K

  4. Poseidon, angered by Laomedons failure to pay him, caused a huge flood around Troy to destroy the crops and cattle. Along with this flood came sea monster.

  5. Laomedon called upon soothsayers to tell him how to rid Troy of this sea monster and they tell him it must be fed prey to make it leave, so Laomedon began to throw animals over the wall, but it still did not leave. Finally the soothsayers revealed to him that it must be a young maiden that is fed to the monster. Laomedon made the young Trojan maidens draw lots, and unfortunately for him, his daughter, Hesione, was chosen to be the sacrifice.

  6. By chance Hercules happened to come to Troy the very day Hesionewas to be sacrificed. Hercules offered to save Hesione and kill the sea monster in return for two of the immortal horses that had been given to Laomedon s father, Troas, by Zeus. Laomedon agreed. I need your help bro It s not free

  7. Hercules walked out onto the flooded plains of Troy with his great bow and shot the monster dead with arrows. As soon as the sea monster had died the sea water returned back to the sea, leaving the dead monster beached in the fields.

  8. Laomedon, once again, went back on his promise of a reward and kicked Hercules out of the city empty handed. Hercules was very angry and told him that he would be back for revenge. Hercules left Troy and went to the island of Salamis where his friend Telamonhad recently become king. Thanks .. Get out though

  10. Telamonwas in the middle of his wedding feast when Hercules arrived at his gates. Hercules held a toast at Telamonswedding asking the gods to give Telamona son, which he tells him to name after the eagle. Hercules asks Telamonto help him get revenge on Laomedon for betraying his promise. Telamonis so eager to go on a journey with Hercules he leaves his newly wed bride the day after their marriage with one ship and a crew to sail to Troy. I need your help pal Bye dear have fun

  11. Upon landing at Troy, King Laomedon sent out an army to fight them. Hercules, Telamon, and the ship crew beat back the entire Trojan army until they fled back inside the city walls and locked the gates.

  12. Telamonhit the wall with the butt of his spear right where there had been a gap left by Apollo and Poseidon in the making of the wall and it breached a hole in the wall that they could get through. Hercules rushed into the city and killed King Laomedon with his bow, causing the rest of the Trojans to surrender. I quit

  13. Hercules took all the treasure and wealth in Troy and a few captives and divided them among himself, Telamon, and the ship crew. Hesioneand Priam, Laomedon s youngest son, were taken as prisoners. Hercules took Hesioneas his prize and gave Priam to Telamon, who offered to spare his life in return for Hesione sgolden veil. Don t kill my little brother please Fine.

  14. Priam was allowed to stay in the city and be raised by the elders to be the next king of Troy while Hesione, the other captives, and the loot were to be taken back to Salamis with Telamon. Telamonbegged Hercules to allow him to accompany him on his journeys and Hercules agreed to bring him. So Telamonsent what was taken from Troy back with his crew to Salamis and went with Hercules on his next journey, his ninth task which was to get the golden girdle from the Queen of the Amazons.

  15. A year passed and Telamonfinally returned home to Salamis only to find that the child Hercules had prayed for at his wedding had been born; he named this child Ajax meaning the Eagle remembering that Hercules had asked him to do so.
