GRIHA Exemplary Performance Awards Guidelines for GRIHA projects# 1. For participation in the aforementioned award category, the project team should fill the presentation template that is given with the guidelines, in .pptx format. 2. Project team must explain their strategies as per the instructions given under in the subsequent slides and support it with pictures. The presentation should not exceed a maximum of 15 slides. Additionally, separate presentations need to be submitted for each category. 3. The project team may mention their ongoing or completed interventions. Proposed plans may not be included in the presentation. 4. Winners will be announced during the GRIHA Event on 10 December, 2021. 5. It is compulsory to include case study card details which is a summary of your presentation on the last slide 6. The project team must submit group photographs in one of the slides. 7. GRIHA Exemplary Performance Awards Project explanation (Separate presentation for each category) 1. Energy management The project team needs to demonstrate optimization of energy consumption through efficient lighting/ HVAC/ system designing If the project team has an efficient operation and maintenance protocol which can optimize energy consumption of the project 2.Passive architecture design The project team needs to demonstrate the strategies in which natural site features (topographical/microclimatic) can be protected and incorporated into the project design. 3. Sustainable building materials /technologies The project team needs to demonstrate the use of locally available materials and material with high recycle content(like fly-ash or any other BIS recommended waste) If the project is using any innovative technologies to reduce embodied energy in building structure (like pre-cast, PT slabs, coffered slab etc.) NOTE: Please submit separate presentations for different categories.

Site management (During construction) The project team needs to demonstrate the best site management practices during construction. 7. Construction workers health and safety (During construction) The project team needs to demonstrate the safe, healthy and hygienic working & living conditions for construction workers working in the project.
