Encourages focus on quality improvement and patient need A way to describe the future / a future vision for a OHWB service An asset-based way to celebrate every service s strengths and opportunities Empowering for staff and an opportunity for development Systematic way to think about what would help you to do your job Describing what a good service looks like for you, based on local need A tool to support commissioning of OHWB services, where needed, as a measure for good provision Helps focus and prioritise team effort and opportunities for investment 4 |

  6. Throughout the session...... If you are aware of any OHWB service accreditation or recognition schemes, please jot them down on a post it note. Please include the name of the scheme, and the area (my Trust / my ICB or CCG/ my region), if applicable 6 |

Activity From your own experience, what elements make up a good OH and Wellbeing service? 5 mins to gather your own thoughts 15 mins come up with a list on your table Finally (last five minutes) as a group, please mark with a star the five things on your list you think are the most important for a good OHWB service 7 |

Some ideas Involved the development of their system eg primary care, new system models Accreditation Multi disciplinary working Influencing others other managers and leaders / senior leaders Digital and technology Conversations with stakeholders about how services are delivered Service alignment and integration One patient pathway User experience Staff or manager suggestions / feedback loop capture and act on feedback Evaluation and evidence Clear view of user need (areas of highest demand etc) and regular reviews to ensure it keeps pace with fluctuating need The ear' of key people CEO, HR Director Designed services to be rapidly accessed / provided at most logical point of delivery (close to home/close to work) Effective processes and procedures Part of communities of practice or support networks (local, regional, national) Preventative and/or proactive service offer 8 |
