Procurement MAP Update Procurement MAP Transformation initiated on 10/1/19 Realignment from decentralized operating model to enterprise operating model Center Procurement Officers now report to HQ Assistant Administrator for Procurement and are matrixed to Centers Center Small Business Specialists will report to HQ Assistant Administrator for Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) Goal is to standardize procurement practices/operations across Centers Assessment in process of how we procure institutional requirements and a subset of program/project-specific contracts to achieve greater efficiencies through an enterprise approach (e.g., regional or agency-wide contracts) Industry Days being scheduled to discuss MAP initiatives in greater detail February 20, 2020, Marshall Space Flight Center Small Business Alliance Meeting, Huntsville, AL March 24, 2020, NASA Management Office at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA NASA Headquarters, date TBD Additional dates and locations to be posted on https://beta.sam.gov Submit questions to HQ-DL-PROCUREMENT-SMALL-BUSINESS- MAP@mail.nasa.gov
