WHAT IS IT? Allows unlimited use (for 30 days) of public transportation within the entire province of Madrid (metro, bus, and the Cercan as train system).
HOW DOES IT WORK? All you have to do is swipe your card at the green area on the turnstiles (for the metro or Cercanias trains) or place it on the touchpad located on the buses.
WHY YOULL NEED IT Getting the metro card means free transportation for you the school covers the cost You ll find the transportation card to be very useful from your first day in Madrid Madrid is a big city, but this card allows you to not only go around the city for free, but many surrounding towns as well, for example:
