Amid COVID-19 restrictions, families and friends can now visit individuals in residential services with special guidelines. Visits can be scheduled weekly for 30 minutes, with visitors screened before entry. Physical distancing of 6 feet and mask-wearing are required. Visitations can take place in backyards, porches, driveways, or courtyard spaces, with outdoor spaces prioritized. Group homes without outdoor areas can opt for park visits following the same rules. Family visitations involve the individual, support staff, and up to two members. Staff will facilitate physical distancing during visits.
