Structure of the day 8.50 a.m. - 3.25 p.m. Self-registration Phonics groups Kinetic letters Literacy/Numeracy Child initiated learning Whole-class sessions (e.g. Story-time, PSHE, Topic) Adult led activities Snack Also:- Playtimes/Lunch/Assemblies/P.E. sessions/ICT/Singing
Lunchtime/Snacktime School dinners are free for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children - Menu displayed on website All children need to bring a bottle of water to drink. Snack time in the morning we provide fruit Fruit and milk provided free daily

Security The school gates are locked during the day Please use the main entrance if you are late or for an enquiry End of day please collect your child from the classroom door 3.25pm Password system - used for collection of children in Reception Name of child Authorised person (s) who will collect your child Password Parent s signature Date
Did you know .. Just registering your child for Free School Meals means that the school gets extra money? The Government is giving money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called the Pupil Premium. For every child registered Ham Dingle gets 1320 this year.
The First day of school Your child will need: Book bag Water bottle Coat or rain mac PE kit & bag (shorts, T-shirt, pumps) We will be in touch regarding which colour T-shirt to buy
How can you get involved and help your child? Plan ahead shop early for uniform & equipment Read stories about starting school Begin to establish new routines Practise getting dressed/putting coat on etc Be confident, positive and reassuring
