Equipment: Safety rules are mandatory and apply to all practices and games Enforce use of proper equipment: Athletic supporter/cup Uniform/hat Cleats/Turf Shoes Helmets Catcher s gear (throat protector) Game/practice balls Bats (USA Bat) Pickup: West Harrison Rec Center (TJ) Uniforms New League Provided: Hat and Jersey and Socks Jersey Size must be provided at time of registration

Scheduling: Canceled Games In the event fields are closed due to inclement weather, league will cancel the games/practices If fields are open, but it s not safe to play a game, please let Scheduler know so it can reschedule Requests Send an email with your team's name, request day/time and field location Please check the master calendar on the website first to make sure the field is free

  10. Coaches Corner: Draft welcome email for your team immediately following draft. Communicate with team practices/games Practices for pitcher and catchers Fundamental Drills & Plans (great videos on youtube) Roster (Roster Batting) & Lineup Tools Game Changer ( 10u-12u must use) Identify volunteer parents to assist you www.littleleagueu.org ( Good Resource)

Coaches Corner: Baseball Pitch counts by league age: 11-12: 85 pitches per day 9-10: 75 pitches per day 7-8: 50 pitches per day Baseball Calendar days rest for league age 14 and under: 66 or more pitches: four (4) 51-65 pitches: three (3) 36-50 pitches: two (2) 21-35 pitches: one (1) 1-20 pitches: no rest Softball (all divisions) Maximum of 12 innings per day 7 or more innings in a day: one calendar day of rest is required

  12. Coaches Corner: Report to League Admin Pitch counts Baseball Pitcher/Catcher Game Rules Pitch in only 1 game per day Limit reached during batter 41 or more pitches = no catcher Catch 4 innings = no pitch

  13. Coaches Corner: Volunteers - Games: Tee-Ball & Cubs: Manager plus 3 Coaches Int, Eastern & Majors: Manager plus 2 coaches All others must remain outside of playing field Other assistants may help during practices (all must be cleared as volunteers) No on-deck circle Maintain dugout

Field Maintenance: HLL coaches responsibilities Equipment boxes/locks: Keys will be provided fields and cages must remain locked after use Rec responsibility: Prep and pregame field maintenance on all dirt fields Please rake and drag field after each use - Cover fields as appropriate Field Supplies: Help us help you!! Pay it forward If supplies are running low or are completely out please contact a board member for replacement

All Star Team (District Team) Teams: 12U 11U 10U Requirements: - Residency and School Attendance Player Eligibility Requirement - Participated in eight (8) regular season games - Due to illness or injury, the local league Board of Directors may waive the minimum participation requirement for players to participate in the Little League regular season. - MUST receive permission from LL President for a waiver if a player wants to play in multiple LL programs prior to May 15th. Waivers will NOT be granted after May 15th. Selection: Players are nominated by there team coach. All coaches vote using a point system and coaches are not permitted to vote for any player they nominated from their team. COMMITMENT : PLAYERS MUST FULLY COMMIT TO THIS TEAM PRACTICES 6-7 DAYS A WEEK LEADING UP TO START OF TOURNAMENT. SO DON T PLAN VACATION IF YOU WANT YOUR PLAYER TO PLAY ON THE ALL STAR TEAM
