Welcome to Healthy Relationships Education Program
All Classes During the holiday season will be as scheduled with no changes.
Important Program Policies Absences only permitted 3, more will result in a restart Homework completion is required if NOT completed you will receive an absence Violation of any program policies may result in removal from the program Attendance and progress is reported to the Court every week Accountability is required Confidentiality must be observed if you violate confidentiality you will be removed from the program Must be on time for each class, more than 5 minutes late is an absence Disruptive or disrespectful behaviors will result in removal from the class/program Victim blaming is NOT permitted Any threats, violations, disruptive behaviors or other concerns will be reported to the Court Violation of a no contact order will result in termination from the program Access all program policies on our website under Policies
Program Policies You must present for your class being clean and sober. Violations will result in your being removed from the class. Active participation is expected in the class discussions All policies, rules and expectations are available on the website for your reference Any re-offense, violence, violation of a restraining order or excessive absences will result in a restart and/or further Court action This program is an educational program not mental heatlh treatment. Referrals for other needed services can be made.
During the Class More than 5 minutes late and you will not be allowed credit for the class You must have your homework in order to receive credit Stay seated and in front of the camera during the class Be Alone (due to confidentiality) Reduce background noise Leave the Camera on at all times Mute yourself if you are not talking Present yourself as you would for an in person class, be dressed and conduct yourself appropriately. DO NOT drive or be in a car with another person while you are in the class
Grab a Notebook It is recommended that you use a notebook/folder for your class to Keep notes and homework in. All materials used in the class are on the website under Class Printabel Tools and can be viewed online or printed For Homework, you do not need to print the assignment and can instead open it and look at it while you write your answers down on a blank piece of paper
Payment for Multiple classes When you sign up for multiple classes you will NOT lose your money. If you are absent, the payment will be applied to your next class If you withdraw form the program for any reason, the balance will be refunded back to the card you used for your purchase with 7 to 10 days.
All Class are via Zoom currently Download the Zoom App it s free Make sure you are in an area with strong wifi signal Give your camera and mic permission when prompted to do so We hope to be back in person at our office in Battle Creek in the future
A couple of cautions You MUST sign up for your class at least 30 minutes prior to your class time. You can sign up as far in advance as you choose You MUST attend once weekly, Monday through Sunday or you will be marked absent You can only attend once a week and must complete all required classes to complete your program Program recommendations are made in coordination with the Courts
Program Contract By reading and reviewing this powerpoint, you are agreeing that you understand the rules of the program and agree to comply with those rules as outlined here, in the program policies and the Class Contract. (Available at www.healthyrelationshipnow.com) This is a serious commitment to the program and you acknowledge your responsibilities in fulfilling the program to completion. You will be recorded giving your consent to release information about your participation in the program to your designated Court and will also acknowledge your understanding of and agreement to the program rules.
