Elevator Speech Families Help Me Grow Maine is a free parent and caregiver information line linking families with children birth to eight years of age, and pregnant people, to information about child development and community resources they may need. We help you connect with whatever you need for your young children, like parenting and behavior supports, childcare information, and basic needs like car seats. We also offer a free developmental questionnaire over the phone and on our website, to help you better understand your child s strengths and check on developmental needs they may have as well. Insert any other applicable information based on situation.
Elevator Speech Child Health Providers Help Me Grow Maine provides free resource connection and child development information to parents and caregivers of young children. We help families understand what supports are available to them, navigate complex systems, and we also provide free developmental screenings over the phone and through our website using the Ages and Stages Questionnaires. Help Me Grow Maine is available to all families in Maine with a child ages birth to eight, as well as pregnant people. We serve families regardless of income, insurance, or citizenship status, and children do not need to have a diagnosis to receive support. You may refer a patient directly or share our information for the family to self-refer when they are ready. After connecting with the family, we will send a follow-up communication to your office (with parent consent) to share the outcome of the referral. Insert any other applicable information based on situation (for example, referral link in FindHelp, value added in supporting follow up for other referrals they are making to places like CDS, etc.).
