List Maintenance Daily, monthly, bi-annual, annual, odd-number year tasks DO IT and KEEP CURRENT County Board members checklist Establish baseline, then check every February and August Remove exact matches, research near matches Do not remove if there is doubt. Best to include, not exclude Use the inactive process to have accurate lists.

  4. Same Day Registration Second Chance to register after April 13 close of books Notice to late applicants of second chance Letter in SEIMS Remember the two business day requirement: Check for duplicates; Verify drivers license or last 4 numbers of Social Security; Then send verification mailing

  5. UOCAVA Registration Learn and follow the law Follow the process developed by SBOE Scan the registrations Enter the appropriate information to ensure that voter receives balloting material using the method preferred by the voter and in the most timely manner. If you have questions or need additional training, ASK!

  6. Distribution of Voter Registration Forms Treat others as you would like to be treated. Send misdirected forms to the correct county. Use the transfer process developed in SEIMS. This is more efficient. Encourage voter registration drive organizers in advance to deliver forms to the correct county, but if they deliver forms to the incorrect county, accept the forms. This is in the best interest of the applicants. If a different state, send the form to the correct state. We are here to help voters and should not be obstructionists.

Class 2 Misdemeanor Voter Registrations Violations 1) Communicate to applicant acceptance of application and fail to timely submit the application or destroy application 2) Unlawful to sell or attempt to sell voter registrations 3) Unlawful to change information on application prior to delivery to the Board of Elections
