Personalized Learning One to One Hercules Middle School is going one to one Each students will receive a district issued lap top The lap top will remain with them until the last week of their 8th grade year They are responsible for bringing it to school daily Students will be assigned a district email address Parents must sign a technology agreement form each year Google Classroom, Study Sync, New math adoption, etc

Student IDs and Lanyards ID s are mandatory Students must wear lanyards daily If a student does not have a lanyard, they can use our loaner ID Students must report to the library to get the loaner Students must get the loaner at the start of the school day or at lunch Loaners must be returned to the library at the end of the day Lost loaners will result in a replacement cost Lanyard and ID replacement is $5.00

If you need to get in contact with your student for an emergency, please contact the main office. 4th time, the school requests that either the student is not allowed to bring the phone, or the device is checked into the office safe daily

  16. Lockers Students will need two lockers. The school provides outside lockers for general use Students must provide their own personal lock. If the school needs to search an outside locker, the lock will be cut off and the school will not reimbursed for the lock. Locks and lockers for PE are provided by the school. Each student will pay $6.00. The same lock can be used the entire while the student is enrolled at Hercules Middle School.

  17. Early Check Outs Parents who need to have students released prior to dismissal, please send the student to the office with a note prior to the start of school. We will then issue the student an early dismissal slip The student will present the slip to their teacher and meet the parent in the office at the appropriate time. This will prevent classroom interruptions.

  18. Progress Report and Report Cards Progress Reports are mid quarter. These are given to students. Report cards are mailed home. You will receive four reports each year. Students who have a 3.0 GPA and no D s or F will be placed on the quarters honor roll. The Principals award is given to students with a 3.5 and above. Perfect Attendance is given to students who have missed no days of school and have no tardies.

  27. PowerSchool PowerSchool gives parents and students an instant visibility to attendance, assignments, scores, grades, comments and progress toward each standard. PowerSchool gives a direct link to the teacher through email, and gives a look at progress report and report card marking. Each teacher uses PowerSchool to different levels but all are required to update at Progress report and Report card marking times
