Costs Only charged once item is vended. Billed monthly Receive an Excel detailed report monthly Some accounts may have an annual programming fee H&V has nationwide account, so pay no fees or set up costs PPE cost is very reasonable buying in bulk Fastenal advertises 20-30% reduction due to decrease in theft, PO costs, ordering costs. Pros & Cons Pro s Managed by someone else Well organized, always stocked Overall cost/item decreased vs old vendor PPE readily accessible for all employees Usage tracked by employee for accountability Can vend almost anything including non safety items Con s Needed to run Cat 5 cables to 3 locations that have machines PPE costs have increased due to an increase in usage.
