  2. RESUME SECRETS THAT GET YOU NOTICED IN ASIA S IT JOB MARKET Are you applying to IT jobs in Asia and not getting responses? Your resume might be the reason. In this video, I ll reveal the resume secrets that actually get attention from tech companies and recruiters like us here in Singapore.

  3. TAILOR FOR THE JOB, NOT FOR EVERYONE One resume doesn t fit all. Always tailor your resume for the specific role you're applying for. Highlight only the experience and skills relevant to that job.

  4. USE KEYWORDS FROM THE JOB DESCRIPTION Most companies use ATS Applicant Tracking Systems to filter resumes. So, use keywords from the job description. If they mention AWS or React , make sure it s clearly in your resume if you have the skill.

  5. START WITH A STRONG SUMMARY Your summary is prime real estate. It should be 3 4 lines about who you are, your experience level, and your top strengths or achievements.

  6. HIGHLIGHT ACHIEVEMENTS, NOT JUST DUTIES Don t just list what you did show the impact. Use numbers. For example, instead of saying 'Managed a team', say 'Led a team of 6 developers to deliver a fintech app with 100k+ users in 6 months.

  7. KEEP IT CLEAN AND CONCISE Your resume should be easy to read. Use bullet points and clear headings, and avoid fancy graphics or colours. Keep it to 1 2 pages max.

  8. INCLUDE TECHNICAL SKILLS SECTION Create a dedicated section for your technical skills tools, languages, frameworks, platforms. It helps recruiters and ATS systems find you quickly.

  9. ADD CERTIFICATIONS & PROJECTS In Asia, certifications still matter! Add relevant ones like AWS, Azure, PMP, or Google Data Analytics. Also include links to GitHub or portfolio projects if you're a developer.
