MEETINGS No HSSC meeting since IRCC11 HSSC12 was planned to Bristol, UK (11-15 May 2020), but was postponed due to Covid-19 HSSC12 will be arranged as a VTC, 19 22 October 2020 HSSC13 is planned to Bali, Indonesia ( 3 7 May 2021), to be confirmed early February 2021 IRCC-12, VTC, 6-7 October 2020
HSSC KEY PRIORITIES Operational/strategic level Review how the revised IHO Strategic Plan impact HSSC (SPI) S-100 Implementation Roadmap Transition S-57 to S-101 according to the IHO proposed way forward to IMO Future of Paper charts Technical level Development of the S-1xx Product Specifications and operationalization of S-1xx framework New edition of S-44 Increasing need for Data Quality descriptions
HSSC PROGRESS SINCE IRCC11 Since HSSC12 was postponed HSSC progressed with some actions by correspondence. As announced by IHO CL 33/2020 the following standards were adopted. o Edition 6.0.0 of S-44 IHO Standards for Hydrographic Survey o Edition 2.1.0 of S-49 Mariners Routeing Guides o Edition 1.0.0 of S-67 Mariners Guide to Accuracy of Depth Information in Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) WG meetings were arranged according to plan until mid- March 2020. Since then VTCs have been arranged by WGs/PTs IRCC-12, VTC, 6-7 October 2020
