The The EAtHC EAtHC 2018: EAtHC 15. EAtHC every two years 2020: EAtHC 16 postponed due to the COVID. VTC intersessional meeting (Sep2020) 2021: EAtHC 16 plenary conference, 29 September to 01 October 2021 (Hybrid), preceded by MSI & MSDI Seminar. 27 and 28 September 2021, (VTC). EAtHC statutes under revision (target: approval in the next conference) EAtHC CSB/Seabed 2030 coordinator already assigned 26 EAtHC Costal States but only 7 IHO Members IRCC13 VTC, 23 25 June, 2021
Work on Strategic Plan and Gap Analysis (top 3 aspects) Work on Strategic Plan and Gap Analysis (top 3 aspects) Gap Analysis will be discuss in the next EAtHC meeting work in progress Goal 1: Evolving the hydrographic support for safety and efficiency of maritime navigation, undergoing profound transformation Planning and capacity building for S-100 implementation CB Seminars, E-learning, etc. PCA s role Some areas inadequately surveyed High variability in data quality (age, acquisition methods and techniques) Need for an MSDI plan/roadmap aligned with UN-GGIM IGIF Goal 2: Increasing the use of hydrographic data for the benefit of society Goal 3: Participating actively in international initiatives related to the knowledge and the sustainable use of the Effectiveness Capacity Building Improve knowledge: EMODNet, DCBD, SEABED 2030, etc. Communication strategy Ocean IRCC13 VTC, 23 25 June, 2021
