Main Outcomes ICAO EUR/NAT Office ICAO EUR/NAT Office Thanked Ukraine for hosting this important event Detailed review of the amended provisions Introduction to FITS Flight Plan Implementation Tracking System and ICAO guidelines for implementation Reviewed current status of the implementation plan for the ICAO European Region Reviewed detailed information concerning IFPS transition plans Reviewed issues related to OLDI and AFTN infrastructure and plans to address them 2
Main Outcomes ICAO EUR/NAT Office ICAO EUR/NAT Office Noted the strong request from IATA that all States implement the amendment without differences Supported the SMS approach to change management to ensure a safe transition and timely identification of hazards, risks and appropriate mitigation; FPL Task Force to consider Welcomed the opportunity to reach a common understanding of the provisions and transition plans Provided updated information concerning States plans and readiness, which will be confirmed via State Letter. 3
Main Outcomes ICAO EUR/NAT Office ICAO EUR/NAT Office Participants strongly encouraged to take part in the FPL 2012 workshops for the EUR Region Agreed that close coordination was necessary to ensure a safe and seamless transition to the extent possible. Workshop strongly requested that ICAO publish the formal amendments to Doc 4444 and Doc 7030 as soon as possible to support timely planning and finalization of technical requirements Requested that agreed conversion table for equipment capabilities be circulated as global guidance 4
