  4. Represent the athletes within the ICF , by keeping them as our top priority within the ICF bodies and create an atmosphere to allow athletes to raise their voice when necessary so their voice is heard Role athletes Commission Create a network of athletes representatives, AC exist across all levels within the Olympic movement, there is an AC within the IOC , WADA, IPC, continental & National Olympic Committees, so every international federation should also have an athletes rep Support the athletes on and off the water, I will touch on this under athletes opportunities.

  5. Attract more athletes to be willing to represent their sport disciples within the ICF umbrella , we hope to achieve this by creating campaigns to improve our visibility as a commission over the next cycle. Importance of AC continuity Balance between competing and retired athletes. We would like to encourage all the federations to approach both active and retired athletes to want to become apart of our campaigns so when the new commissions are elected we have a good balance in representation across all the disciplines from canoe polo, wild water, freestyle, SUP, Ocean Paddling, Marathon, to Canoe sprint and Slalom

  7. Athletes opportunities ( where the support to athletes off the water is very important) I am going to highlight 4 Career + , namely the WISH program where I recently received a scholarship to attend thanks to our ICF development projects driven by Sebastian and Cecelia, this program is an Olympic movement training & empowering female coaches to achieve gender equality at all level of sports! Athletes 365 learning models , these are online courses offered by the ioc 365 platform. They are free and only requires the athletes to register and attend the courses. Recently they delivered successful programs to help athletes develop their career pathways and to create a successful CV when applying for a job! Mental health , this is becoming a very real topic across the worlds top athletes. Some athletes in your country might encounter this as a challenge so it s important for federations to be aware that it s something your athletes face. The athletes declaration , Adopted by the Olympic movement in October 2018, it outlines a common set of aspirational rights and responsibilities for athletes within the Olympic movement. A Vote to adopt and endorse the athletes declaration as the ICF NOC. Our organization will be added to the Olympic website dated November 2022 as the date we all hopefully all agree with this endorsement & support the movement. We will join ANOC, Panam sports, Olympic council of Asian athletes forum, Oceania noc athletes forum, NZ NoC, Australian NOC, and ISA to name a handful. Athletes opportunities
