LGR ICT Theme At Vesting Day there will be two new ICT services Cumberland (Carlisle, Allerdale, Copeland) Westmorland & Furness (Eden, South Lakeland & Barrow) Legacy Cumbria County Council ICT interim hosted by Cumberland for approx. two years providing services to both Cumberland and W&F and then fully disaggregated. Existing teams such as Field Engineering will remain unchanged for Day 1. Cumbria Fire and Rescue Services ICT will be interim managed by Cumberland as part of interim hosted arrangements. ICT Workstream have focused on 2 priority areas 1. Core ICT to ensure Day 1 service continuity (networks, devices) 2. Systems and applications to ensure business continuity and Day 1 safe and legal.

LGR ICT Theme What will stay the same for Day 1? Existing access arrangements will continue for Day 1 Current laptop and mobile phone. The same mobile phone number and provider will continue. Current logon arrangements to access your devices and applications; including sovereign working remotely arrangements (VPNs). and from home Current access to file stores and MS Teams, Sharepoint sites etc Access to printing solutions same access to printers in same buildings additional printers in Anchor buildings for agile staff attending new buildings. with some

LGR ICT Theme What will stay the same for Day 1? Existing arrangements will remain in operation for Day 1 Helpdesk / Service Desk Many systems and applications that you use will be unchanged We will communicate directly any systems changes that have been made.

Email addressees: The ICT workstream are working hard to provide new email address: forename.surname@cumberland.gov.uk forename.surname@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk Group emails and system emails work ongoing Please do not communicate any email changes yet until tech changes and testing is complete. Data Centres & Networking Arrangements: Base network designed to join all Councils together behind the scenes Extending Wi-Fi provision across all seven authorities

ICT Internal Portals Work is underway on two internal customer portals incidents and requests to signpost for Some applications Some priority applications have been identified to be split for Day 1 and work is underway on those systems Aiming for example : Adults Social Care & Finance Children Social Care Finance Registrars Asset Management Highways Digital Platform Websites & Intranets changes to Systems and Further information and training will follow to system users where required
