IFORS Fellows The IFORS Fellow Award serves to recognize a distinguished individual s contribution to international operational research and its communities. Inaugural Fellows will be all past IFORS Presidents and Organization Secretaries (before position of President created) All current individual members of a IFORS member society may nominate candidates per eligibility guidelines Submission period will end February 25th of each year Maximum of 10 Fellows per year
IFORS Fellows-The Process The nominator is responsible for compiling and sending to the IFORS Secretariat the following nomination materials: A nomination letter 3 reference letters Nominee s Resume (of at most 4 pages) highlighting accomplishments as called for by the criteria It must be noted that: At most one, of the nominator along with the 3 references, could come from the same institution as the nominee. Furthermore, the nominator and 3 references must belong to different IFORS member societies. Reference letters must come from established experts qualified to independently evaluate the nominee's contributions and clearly establish the scope and significance of the nominee's accomplishments.
IFORS Hall of Fame The Hall of Fame gives an opportunity to celebrate the exceptional contributions made by the OR pioneers and those who have followed in their footsteps. The current Hall of Fame is on the IFORS website and has not been updated since 2006. Three new inductees will be announced during each triennial conference. All Presidents of IFORS member societies, regional groupings, and previous inductees may nominate only one person each.

IFORS AC renewal: President and Vice-President A nominating committee consisting of the three most recent living past presidents .candidates for the posts of President and IFORS Vice-President. Additional nominations, each supported by at least three Members, may be made, provided they are received by the Secretary at least a year before 1 January of a year exactly divisible by three. (By December 31, 2020) Elections to the offices of President and IFORS Vice President will be by means of a three-month ballot and shall take place early in the year preceding the start of the term of office. [If no additional candidates are nominated by the Member Societies, the candidates nominated by the Nominating Committee assume office on 1 January 2022.]
IFORS AC renewal: Regional Vice-Presidents The Regional Vice Presidents will be chosen by the regional groupings by such processes as the regional groupings may determine and as shall be approved by the Administrative Committee, and on a schedule concurrent with the election of the President and the IFORS Vice President(s).
IFORS AC renewal: Treasurer and Secretary The Officers will select and appoint a Treasurer and a Secretary
