Changes to membership Masud Khokhar is standing down from the PWG Peter V. Christensen is standing down from the PWG 3/20/2025 The group has been extremely busy, and will be expanding in 2013 to accommodate extra work load. IGeLU 2013, Berlin As a result, this year, we have four vacancies this year. 4
PWG Spring meeting PWG members met at Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford in April 2013. Main topics for discussion were: Membership of the PWG for the year 2013 onwards The next round of NERS enhancement voting The IGeLU conference in Berlin Primo product update from Ex Libris Metalib product update from Ex Libris 3/20/2025 IGeLU 2013, Berlin 5
NERS voting 2012 6 enhancements will be developed by Ex Libris from the NERS 2012 enhancement ballot. 3/20/2025 These included top voted enhancements: IGeLU 2013, Berlin Rank Title Votes Implementation 1 Multiple FRBR enhancements 1084 4.2 3 Improvements to navigation and sign-in links 593 4.2 4 Search by page/record number 521 4.2 5 Specific (search/alert results) and General Email issues with Primo 347 End of 2013 7 Enable change password for patrons from Primo 304 Aleph V.22-Q1 2014, Voyager v9- Q1 2014, Alma-done 4.3 6 8 Photocopy request via OvP 265 Aleph V.22-Q1 2014, Voyager v9- Q1 2014, Alma-done 4.4
OvP voting 2012 11 enhancements will be developed by Ex Libris from the special OvP 2012 enhancement ballot. 3/20/2025 In reality, there are 9 new enhancements being developed as 2 of them are the same as NERS 2012 ballot. IGeLU 2013, Berlin The OvP enhancements cycle came out from a discussion with the INUG meeting. The acceptance from Ex Libris to develop these enhancements from a special voting cycle is highly appreciated. In short, your voice matters! 7

NERS voting - 2013 A list of top 25 enhancement requests from NERS enhancement ballot 2013 has been passed on to Ex Libris. 3/20/2025 The list also contains the top 3 enhancement requests for the Back Office, MetaLib+ and Primo Central Index. IGeLU 2013, Berlin The IGeLU Primo/MetaLib PWG would like to thank the ELUNA Primo PWG for their support and help in the NERS 2013 enhancement process. The IGeLU and ELUNA Primo/MetaLib PWGs are also doing further collaborative work to strengthen the relationship with Ex Libris and to provide consolidated support for community. 9
Ex Libris commitment Ex Libris has also committed to development of top 10 enhancement requests per year till the enhancement cycle 2015-2016 (3 years from now). 3/20/2025 If an enhancement can not be implemented in the subsequent year, further enhancements will be developed from the top 15 in consultation with the PWGs. IGeLU 2013, Berlin An additional OvP enhancements cycle will be conducted for year 2013, resulting in development of top 5 requests. Only under exceptional circumstances, Ex Libris can deny development for an enhancements with explanation provided to the community. 10
MetaLib Users Survey This year, we also conducted a MetaLib User Survey. 3/20/2025 The aim was to understand why customers are still using MetaLib, what s lacking in MetaLib+, and to get back other important information from the customers. IGeLU 2013, Berlin This information has recently been provided to Ex Libris. Andrew Brown will be presenting the results in a dedicated session in IGeLU 2013 (Session 11.41 from 17:00 to 17:30) 11
