Human Resources will be notified of employees who have received an approved exemption by Shaw HR Consulting. All employees with an approved exemption will undergo mandatory COVID-19 testing twice a week. Those employees will be tested through Healthy Returns Support who will upload results that will be shared with SJDC Human Resources. 6

  7. Religious & Medical Exemptions Staff and Students with an approved medical or religious exemption are required to test twice a week. When Staff and Students are notified of their exemption approval, they are reminded of their obligation to test twice a week. Staff are sent reminder communications and receive a survey every 3 months to complete if they need home test kits mailed to them. Compliance for Staff exemption testing is monitored weekly by Human Resources. Compliance for Student exemption testing is monitored daily by Student Services. 7

  8. COVID Updates The safety and well-being of all Delta College students and employees is our priority, due to increased COVID-19 positive cases for employees in the DeRicco Building, as well as guidance from Cal/OSHA and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Delta College will require masks indoors for the DeRicco Building effective June 21 - July 29. The San Joaquin County Department of Public Health has provided Delta College with 10,000 free COVID-19 test kits. These kits are available to students and employees at the Locke Lounge testing center. 8
