  2. MUSIC THERAPY in EPILEPSY Epilepsy affects about 11 million children throughout the world. The management of childhood epilepsy is difficult undertaking but music therapy is an important approach in childhood epilepsy.

  3. OBJECTIVE was to evaluate impact of music therapy in management of childhood epilepsy. The objective of this systematic review

  4. Meterial and Method Literature review has been limited to the last decade Akdeniz University elektronic databased in Pubmed, Cinahl, Sciencedirect, Cochrane, Ulakbim Turkish Medical Directory, Turkish Medline Screening was conducted between June and July 2017

  5. Meterial and Method-II Using the keyword Music therapy in child with epilepsy 43 articles have been reached. Of these, 36 were duplications.

  6. Meterial and Method-III Ten orjinal studies were included in the systematic review that provided the research criteria as language, title, content that can be reached in full text.

  7. RESULTS

  8. that the number of seizures and epileptiform discharges in children decreased during and immediately after music therapy. The results of seven studies indicated with epilepsy (Millichap, 2015; Lin et al, 2014a; Lin et al, 2014b; Lin et al, 2013a; Lin et al, 2013b; Bodner et al, 2012; Lin et al, 2011a)

  12. CONCLUSION Music therapy is commonly used children with epilepsy. Research indicates that music therapy is a useful therapeutic approach regardless of mentality.
