  1. DL assignment 3

  2. How have social media platforms changed the way you consume and understand information? when we see information in a video/picture we usually believe it, no matter how fake it may seem, others may believe it. for example, billions of people watch global news daily and the more you watch, it can activate the sympathetic nervous system, which causes your body to release stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline.

  3. When you see or read news on social media, do you take time to research the story further? No I usually don t unless it catches my attention enough for me to search it up and click on a website.

  4. What value do you get from online social interactions? You can find people with the same interests and hobbies from far away. You could get famous

  5. How is social media and social capital helping to form youth culture? In my opinion, I don t believe that it is helping youth culture. If anything its making it worse by not properly teaching youth how to communicate increasing social anxiety and stress.

  6. When you post online do you consider how the post may be seen by others? What it may say about you? How that post may be seen in the future? Yes, usually everytime I post I think about how others may react, I never post anything that is innapropriate.
