TECHNOLOGY AND SOCIAL MEDIA Research has shown that the more time a person spends on social media, the more likely they are to experience mental health symptoms such as anxiety, depression, isolation, and hopelessness. The more you re online, the more chances there are of being bullied or harassed or having something negative happen. Social media doesn t have to be a bad thing. It can help you connect in the real world, advance education, engage in healthy interests, etc. Create boundaries with social media; limit your time on your phone!
