Green Factory Provide food for human (meat, mushrooms, fruits of the forest). Important functions Lungs of the Earth The trees produce oxygen and consume carbon dioxide in the proces of photosynthesis.

  4. Threats to the forest environment Biotic Abiotic Anthtopogenic Insects Parasitic fungi Rodents Drought Frostibite Strong winds Fires Urbanization Air pollution

  5. Forests protection Prevention of fires - proper irrigation of forests during drought. Icreased penalties for dumping waste and high forest control. Tree felling must be accompanided with planting new once.

  6. Polish forest organizations THE CLUB OF POLISH FORESTERS Defending the interests of Polish forestry, caring for development and sustainability of forest management. POLISH FOREST ASSOCIATION initiation of forestry research development and studies connected with practice.

  7. World forests organization International Union of Forest Research Organizations It promotes global cooperation in forest- related research and enhances the understanding of the ecological, economic and social aspects of forests and trees.

  8. How does youth helps the forests? Additional classes and lectures connected with forest job, acquaintance with priority of the forests. Planting new tress, expansion of the natural habitat of forest animals. Mass waste removal actions.
