  2. Why is it important to regulate movement of pigs? It is important to keep your pigs confined because when pigs are left to roam freely they easily get in contact with infected pigs or contaminated objects and get infected. If you have to bring new pigs to your farm, keep them separate for 15 days to ensure that they do not introduce disease to your farm Avoid selling pigs during outbreaks

  3. Why is it important to report ASF outbreaks early? Reporting of diseases early helps the government authorities to contain the outbreak and to limit its spread. When people do not report disease outbreaks, the disease will spread and kill many pigs in your village.
