Improving Cybersecurity Information Sharing in the Communication Sector
Working Group 5 is dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity information sharing among companies in the communications sector. Led by industry experts, the group aims to develop recommendations to facilitate better identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery from cyber attacks. Through its various study efforts, Working Group 5 will address use cases, information sharing barriers, trust pools, and conduits for sharing information, with a timeline in place for delivering key outcomes. This collaborative initiative focuses on strengthening the sector's resilience to cyber threats and fostering a culture of proactive information exchange.

WG5 Description In order to improve the communication sector s ability to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber attacks, Working Group 5 will develop recommendations to the Council encourage sharing of cybersecurity information between companies in the communications sector. 2
