Improving Learning Through Testing
Testing is a powerful means of enhancing learning by going beyond traditional assessment methods. This method of problem-based learning at scale emphasizes the limitations of autograding. EdX Edge features include grading flexibility, multiple attempts for iterative learning, and contextual help. Additionally, outcomes from a library assignment in Bio 1B show significant improvement in student engagement and understanding.
