Improving Recognition of Exceptional Performance in IEEE 802 Standards Workshop
This document outlines a proposal to enhance the recognition of exceptional performance within the IEEE 802 standards community. It covers eligibility criteria, areas of recognition, proposed start date, locations for recognition, reasons for implementing the program, and the process for its rollout. The focus is on acknowledging outstanding contributions to standards development, leadership roles, advocacy, and industry engagement. The program is set to begin in 2025 following the development of new guidelines and approval by LMSC.
