  11. Key recommendations 1. That raising the level of the minimum qualification beyond a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will only address some of the concerns . 2. Establish a set of nationally recognised VET learning and teaching standards. 3. Develop a national strategy to upskill the existing workforce of VET teachers 4. Put our own systems in place to advance the skills of their VET teachers beyond any minimum base level teaching qualification 5. Improve the integration of VET provision across the whole education sector
