Factors Influencing a Headteachers Decisions on Curriculum Provision What s best for my school? How do I ensure my school performs at its best
In Reality, the Decisions Feel More Like This Can I get enough good teachers ? How do parental perceptions of subjects influence student choices? Are some subjects easier than others ?
Where Does Inter-Subject Comparability Feature in this Decision Making? Key questions: Are all subjects disciplines and bodies of knowledge perceived to be of the same weight and worth? But public perceptions of subject difficulty will not be changed easily.
What Do I Need? To understand the complexity of the process and issues involved in ensuring inter-subject comparability I need confidence that someone is thinking about ISC and is making sure it is as fair as possible.
